No. The matte effect comes from the film itself — when removed professionally, the original factory paint finish remains intact.

No. Glass can still break, but the film prevents shards from scattering and increases resistance to impact. Thicker films (8–12 mil) provide stronger protection for security-led projects.

No. The films are optically clear with 90% visible light transmission, making them suitable for shopfronts, offices and homes where visibility must be maintained.

2–4 mil suits general glass-retention and duty-of-care needs; 8 mil is the standard for security applications; 12 mil is the highest protection level for high-risk glazing.

Dazzling Red (10% VLT) provides strong visual screening with a bold statement finish. Dazzling Blue (85% VLT) is a light colour effect that keeps glass bright and open.

Yes — retail fit-outs, offices, hospitality and any project where design-led glass treatment is wanted.

Privacy and opaque films are used when visual screening is the main goal — from reflective daytime privacy for homes and offices through to complete blockout for storage areas, meeting rooms and glass that must not be seen through.

Frosted films such as White Scrub diffuse light and show soft silhouettes while keeping rooms bright. Blockout films such as White Impenetrable and Black Impenetrable stop all visibility and light transmission (0% VLT).

Most do. Silver series and White Scrub films reduce glare while letting filtered daylight through. Only the Impenetrable blockout films stop light completely.

Reflective films provide privacy in daytime when it is brighter outside than inside. At night, with interior lights on, the effect reverses — combine with blinds or choose a frosted or blockout film where 24-hour privacy is required.

Yes. Privacy and opaque films are widely used in offices, retail fit-outs, healthcare and hospitality — for partitions, meeting rooms, shopfronts and any glazing where screening or glare control is required.

They reduce solar heat and glare, provide daytime privacy, and give glazing a reflective silver, blue, green, gold, tea or grey finish. Common on homes, offices and commercial façades.

Infrared rejection ranges from 64% up to 89% depending on the film — Gold Silver and Tea Silver are the strongest heat performers in the range.

Reflective films give privacy during the day when it is brighter outside than inside. At night with interior lights on the effect reverses — pair with blinds or a privacy film where night screening is needed.

VLT across the range runs from 10% to 26%, so interiors are noticeably shaded — choose Blue Silver (26% VLT) for a lighter look or Dark Blue Silver (10%) for maximum shading and privacy.
